EMI Company Sleeve 1970's

The Big Four and the Fab Four The Beatles signed a nine year contact with EMI records in 1962. In later years they would go on to top the charts on both sides of the Atlantic: no group has posted more number one hits than the Fab Four. EMI was one of the big four record companies, until it was acquired by Universal Music in 2012. A congressional hearing was held on the issue, and it was examined by European authorities as well. After several months of debate, American and European regulators approved the takeover of EMI.
